The Adobe Premiere Elements 4 features a new interface thats is near parity with the best of the best in the consumer video-editing crowd. PCMag reviewed this editing software that lacks HD DVD recording capabilites.
The Good: Blu-ray production capabilities. New creative filters. Features image stabilization, audio mixer, and YouTube output.
The Bad: No AVCHD support. No support for HD formats burned to DVD±R discs. No time-code-based scene detection for HDV capture.
The Bottomline: A solid choice unless you shoot in AVCHD or want to deliver an HD experience on DVD±R discs.
Price: Starting at $72.
