gsm_centroPalm Centro just got reviewed again, this time by Wired. Business people can make good use of the phone apps, so it isn’t exactly the type of phone you want to bring to a party unlike the iPhone.

The Good: Easy-to-use. Apps are handled swiftly and easily. Loads quickly on simple webpages. Talk to your buddies or coworkers walkie-talkie-style. More compact than its older Treo cousins. Healthy portion of third-party applications from medical databases to games.

The Bad: No WiFi or integrated GPS (a Bluetooth GPS receiver is optional). Short three-hour battery life. The 1.3-megapixel camera captured crap-quality photos. Plastic housing feels like it could be busted by a strong wind.

The Bottomline: The Palm Centro is a compact QWERTY phone that features numerous apps. Using this phone is easy and fun but is not exactly reliable for Web-browsing.

Price: Starting at $200 with a 2-year contract with AT&T.
