The folks over at PCMAG just took a special look at the Motion Computing F5, a slate PC especially designed for the field worker.
The Good: RFID and bar code scanner. Sleek design with carrying handle. Weight is still manageable. Semi-ruggedized to withstand spills and drops. Outdoor-viewable screen. Built-in Sprint EV-DO modem.
The Bad: No connectivity ports. Price is expensive that only hospitals can afford this.Uses old processing parts. Only field workers and medical professionals can make good use of this slate.
The Bottomline: The Motion Computing F5 is a slate tablet only health-care professionals and field workers can use for more efficiency. It integrates niche features only these group of people can take advantage of.
Starting at $2,699.
