Kodak is poised for a comeback with its new EasyShare M1033, a simple camera that boasts a generous feature set. The 10-megapixel M1033 adds style, comes in six colors, and is easy enough for any beginning photographer. It even offers 720p resolution HD video capabilities.
The good: Good value. Outstanding daylight shots. Easy-to-use menu system. 720 HD resolution movie recording.
The bad: Defaults to auto mode upon boot-up. Underexposed flash. Shutter button is recessed and difficult to find by touch.
The bottom line: With an easy-to-use interface, great images, and a generous feature set, this moderately priced camera packs a lot of value.
Price: Starting at $200.
