Sony’s controversial Rolly is a robotic dancing egg that is also an MP3 player. Some just love it for being so silly, others seem not to get it and say this is just a pricey musical toy for gadget heads who have everything–including some cash to burn.
The Good: Pretty amusing. The flaps act a lot like hands and offer the most personality. Can dance to any song loaded on the device based on song analysis.
The Bad: Though portable, it’s something you wont carry around your pocket. No headphone jack. Bass response is not good.
The Bottomline: Clearly, this device is not for everyone. Rolly is for the gadget head that has everything and some cash to burn.
