Reviewed: Samsung ML-1630 “lifestyle laser printer”
“PC Welt“, the German edition of IDG’s PC World magazine just published a review of the Samsung ML-1630.
The Good: Speedy (up to 16 pages a minute). Outstanding quality for paper prints, especially at 1200 dpi. Noble black finish ‘piano optics’
The Bad: Prints are darker than they should. Photo print quality only average. Price per printed page: 3 Cents (€). Plus: Don’t touch the surface too much, or you’ll leave ugly fingerprints on this beauty. At least Samsung includes a special printer cleaning cloth .
The Bottomline: Great machine for design lovers and professionals or creative folks with simply too much money
Price: Starting at $200.

Share ThisReviewed: Kingston SD2/8GB SDHC Card Review @ ASE Labs
“The SD2/8GB is an 8GB Class 2 SDHC memory card. Class 2 means that the card writes at (a minimum) of 2MB/s. This is the lowest speed class you can get in SDHC. Don’t let that stand in your way; this is an 8GB card after all. Kingston offers a lifetime warranty on all its memory products. You don’t have to worry about it breaking, but if it does, you are covered. ”
