LG enV2 Reviewed: You can forget about this…

lg-env2 LG enV2 looks ordinary…hideous even according to Wired. It’s an upgraded version of the first enV but this one disappoints as well more than excites.

The Good: Bluetooth. Vibrant interior screen. External microSD slot. Stereo speakers. 2 megapix camera.

The Bad: No Wi-fi.QWERTY keyboard not as wide.

The Bottomline: Forget about it.

Price: Starting at $130 with two year contract with Verizon Wireless

Reviewed: Gripmaster

gripmaster_lrgThe DMM Products manufacturered Gripmaster is an ubiquitous exercise product in the world of rock guitar players. It is sold like checkout stand tabloid magazines in guitar shops throughout the world. A subject of much mockery among muscians in the know, the Gripmaster has survied the test of time as a wrist exerciser which specifically (at least in appearance and rhetoric) addresses the finger muscles. I own the oldschool black one which is labeled “medium tension” and have spent many nervous hours fidgeting with it. On a cold night before going on stage, one can spend 5 minutes squeezing the hell out of the Gripmaster to loosen up your hands for performance.

The Gripmaster comes with a dauntingly comprehensive set of instructions and more reading material on the manufacturer’s web site about wrist health than most will ever care to know. It is simple and cheap and at least mine has never had any problems in several years of pretty regular usage and toting it about. Read more
